Hazy yellow pour, small white head. quite yeasty, sharp green hops, light tropical fruit, pale slightly musty malts. Finish is medium bitter, slightly sweet, and fruity, a little tart and very acidic. A little messy and all over the place, but promissing.

Arôme : Levures fruitées (agrumes, notes de pommes rouges) et épicées, pain sucré, léger houblon herbeux.
Goût : En entrée de bouche : Goût de levures fruitées (agrumes, notes de bananes, de prunes vertes et de pommes) et légèrement épicées. Un ferme support de pain sucré est également présent avec un léger d’alcool, un léger goût de céréales ainsi qu’une très légère amertume de houblon herbeux.
En bouche : Corps : moyen. Effervescence : moyenne. Texture : légèrement huileuse. Finale : moyenne, composée d’une légère amertume de houblon herbeux avec des notes d’alcool et de levures épicées.

Bottle: Poured a bright orangey color ale with a nice large foamy head with excellent retention and some lacing. Aroma of Belgian malt with some residual sugar and spicy yeast notes. Taste is a great mix between some spicy yeast notes with some residual sugar that is apparent offset by spicy yeast notes with light apricot ester. Body is about average for style with great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Probably a bit against the grain on this one but I really enjoyed the complexity and the smooth drinking qualities in this beer.

This is an underrated beer, like some of the other chouape beers. Pours golden amber with great head and lacing. Coriander, light floral yeast, some booze and a light fruit cake sense. Leaves a little sweet, with a light note of bitterness. Good balance. Bottle from Bieres du monde.

Pas mon type préféré... J’aime le petit côté mordant au palais et l’acidité mais je ne suis pas fan, désolé.
