Bottle. Sweet grainy malt aroma. Light yellow color with moderate head. Creamy malt and mild hops flavor. Overall an enjoyable beer if not exactly spectacular. (Moroccan version seemed better than the French and Vietnam - the Vietnamese version was lighter overall)

I had never really thought of Vietnam as being much of a beer country and having sampled this beer I know that this is true. This beer appears to have been brewed using only the finest of Vietnamese grown rice. It came in a 12 oz brown bottle, though why one would worry about this beer spoiling is beyond me. It pours a medium golden color with a medium white head. There is a strong skunky macro swill odor. Just the scent of it sends my body into convulsions as I am racked with Vietnam war movie syndrome. To say that there is a light texture is an understatement. It tastes like rice water with a little bit of bitterness added. Very watery - no body to speak of. Drinks like spring water. I think I now know the real reason we had an embargo on Vietnam for 30 years.

Bottled(250ml). -my friend bought it in France near Lourdes, quite good lager, pale yellow coloured whit little quick disappearing head, sweet flavor, hoppy finish,

I had this beer French brewed (not Vietnamese). It worked well in the summer heat of the French Riviera, but it's really a very average lager.

Completely unremarkable in every way. The only positive thing about it is that I can now say I have had a Vietnamese beer. Tastes like your standard American macro fare.
