(Bottle, 0.33 l, at HBF2016) The beer poured clear and golden. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, sweetness and honey. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A decent brew.

Tap @ In de Wildeman, medium sample. Clear yellow to golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma of spicy and grassy hop, some grainy malt. Medium to high bitterness, grassy, spicy, herbal. Wonderful pilsener with big and bold crispy bitterness. Lovely.

Tap at In de Wildeman. Clear golden with big fluffy white head. Dry malts, some soap, lots of grassy notes, some hay and straw, a hint of lime. Light sweet and medium bitter. Light bodied with crisp feel and soft mouth coating carbonation.

Very similar to the Bitter 58, just more buttery and hoppy. Classic Franconian Lager. Nice!

On tap @So Good (Rome). Pours golden with a medium white head. Aroma is very hoppy, grass, grapefruit, yeasts, malt. Flavour is more balanced with a good bitter end. Medium to light body, medium to high carbonation. Quite good.

Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts mild, more and more hoppy-dry, bitter background. Light fruity notes of lemon. Finish dry and bitter. Okay.

Bottle from Bierothek Bamberg. Clear gold lasting white head. Noble hoppy aroma some pale malt. then more floral noble hops. wow really hoppy. good noble hops. like Keesman Herren Pils. very hoppy. maybe too much so?

Keg at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear golden, rich firm head. Generous spicy hop aroma. Very dry with light-medium body and firm, crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Crisp bready malt, lots of spicy hops. Really bitter finish. Excellent!
