Bottle (courtesy of Bierkrug - thanks). Sweet berry and malt aroma. Golden yellow color with minimal head. Sweet malt aroma with a hint of red cherry and cinnamon bread finish. Unusual - tasty beer.

Bottle courtesy of Bierkrug, thank you sir! Golden color, white head. Aroma of sour lemondrops and hay. Taste is very smooth, light malts, medium body. Hops are very subtle. Resembles a saison more than a lager in character.

(bottle, 25cl) Slightly hazy, amber colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly dusty cara-malty aroma with a citric, slightly ascorbic fruity touch and slightly woody hops. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim (cara-)malty base with citric and herbal notes; slim sweet-bitter finish with herbal and slightly fruity aroma hops. Not bad. 07.I.10

Bouteille (Merci, Mr. Le Kwak- d’Aque!) Golden, stable lacy white head; clean sweetish-grainy nose with a subtle bitter touch; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; pale-malty and bitter-hoppy finish. Fresh and pleasant, very good by french Lager-standards.....

0.25l bottle from Achan Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Clear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head and a nice bouquet of hops. Medium-bodied, solid malty background with a good amount of aromatic hops, which the package describes as being Alsatian Strisselspalt. Well-balanced, a good one.
