Bottle 50cl.Unclear medium brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, poppy flower acidic, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090514]

Bottle, shared by Papsoe. It pours a hazy, orange-brown body and a finger-thick, creamy beige head. Some sour malts, caramel and some banana in the aroma, quite weak. Caramel and pale malts in the mouth, along with banana, sweetness and some bitterness. Medium, highly effervescent mouthfeel. Some banana and bitterness in the finish. A drinkable beer, but too weak on aroma and flavor, and too fizzy, even for a weissbier. (090514)

Hazy dark amber with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with caramel and roasted malt. Flavour was moderate sweet with wheat and yeasty notes. Hints of banana.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange to brown with a small off-white head. Dry and estery aroma, mild banana note. Mild roasted malt flavoured, citric to acidic wheaty and estery flavoured yet with a mild malt sweetness coming through. Bitter and estery finish.

Bottled (Beerangel, BB 06/2009, alc. 5.3% as "Weizen Dunkel"). Dark amber color, big off-white cloudy head, lace. Aroma has banana and caramel but also some nutty woodyness and metal. Quite watery mouthfeel for 5.3% beer. Base is caramel malty with weizen banana notes. Then also leafy hops and raw sugar in the finish. Short aftertaste, leaves you waiting for real flavors to march in ... but they never arrive.

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Hazy brown colour with mediumsized beige head, which leaves a lot of lace. Aroma is lots of banana, caramel, some spices and grass. Flavour is caramel malts, some wheat, banana and mild herbal notes. Refreshing, but not very exciting.

An unclear brown beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with notes of banana - and so is the flavor, while the mouthfeel is soft.
