Bottle at Beerbohm Lichfield; clear yellow pour with a big bubbly off white head, aroma has grain, taste has light citrus and smooth malts.

500 ml bottle. Pours clear golden, small head. Grass, citrus, hops extract. Bitter with a unpleasant bitter finish resulting from the hops extract. Medium bodied, soft carbonated. Below average.

Bottle @ Camping Piantelle, Lago de Garda. Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, grain, hay, grass. Flavor is light sweet, malt, grain, grassy, hay. Medium body, average to lively carbonation. 160717

Clear catpiss with little white head. Aroma is gummy bears straw yeast slight cooked vegetables. Aroma is stale harsh hop bitterness with nothing much else. Medium drinkable. Meh.

13th May 2017: Hamm Bierbörse. Draught from the breweries stand. Very pale golden, smooth white head: looked good in it’s correct glass in the bright sunshine. One of the sweetest German beers I’ve ever had, really surprised me: taken directly after an Augustiner Edelstoff, so it might have been my taste buds realigning. Anyway I enjoyed it, even if it was a little thin body wise, the nose had a slighly floral aroma which was pleasant.

*Many thanks to Martin for this bottle! Malty and slightly sweetish but mild Helles. Easy to drink, hints of smooth mild grain. Easy to drink, sessionable with a smooth and not too bitter grainy aftertaste. Nice and typical.

Bottle. Clear pale yellow color with white head. Aroma is sweet pale malts, floral hops, some honey. Taste is thin, a bit sweet malts and a touch of herbal hops. A bit watery. Quite clean, but boring.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly hayish, lightly bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Quite pleasant.
