A vibrant blend of malted barley, oats and wheat gives this pale ale a higher malt profile than expected from its colour and strength. The careful selection of hops and yeast contributes to its aromas and complexity. You might detect a hint of pineapple or blackcurrant. This ale can be drunk chilled and is a perfect drink for summer.

[50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a fading white head; yeasty aroma; sour grainy taste with yeast and a little citrus; and a light pithy citrus finish. A refreshing summer beer.

Bottle from Melbicks Garden Centre, Coleshill. Cloudy gold, small white head, some retention and lacing. Aroma is hops, light malt, grass, a little citrus. Taste is the same, a bit bland but pleasant enough with a grassy lager note to it although the finish is more that of a sweet blonde. Light body, moderate carbonation. A bit dull and not as good as their Gold and Bitter brews. Having said that its not unpleasant.

Bottle from from Mac and Jac’s, Worcester consumed at home cooking spicy lamb shanks and making mushroom soup, Sunday 15th May 2016 Pours light mid gold with a white mid sized head. Not much of an aroma and the taste is ermm... tasteless, hoppiness lacking, bitterness lacking, flavour lacking, drinkability lacking. My dad would describe this as ’like drinking Gnats Piss’ I think he might have a point here. I had a lot of good beers to open in the fridge, looks like this wasn’t one of them, boring beyond belief, cannot be arsed to drink more than half the bottle. A6 A4 T4 P2 Ov9 2.5
