Big ass 650ml bottle at home, cupboard clearance operation, 01/04/24. Golden blonde with a good sized lasting white head ... cupboard aging hasn't done this any harm in terms of appearance! Nose is pale malts, grains, cereals, straw, cardboard. Taste comprises grass, herb, hedgerow, lemon nip, papery notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so mass market carton of piss. I doubt the 7 to 8 years aging has done this any harm as my score isn't too out of line with the average.

[66cl bottle from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A straw coloured pour with a billowing white head; sweet grainy aroma; sweet grainy taste, but with a harsh acidic grassy bitterness. Best served very cold.

Pale gold colour with decent head. Aroma of sweetness, malt and cereal. Average carbonation, light body and quite watery. Tastes moderately sweet, malty and a particular grain/cereal flavour. I don't like it.

Can. Nose is corn, slight citrus, buttery. Taste is corn, malt, lemon, herbal hop note. Much better than I remember; not actually nice.

Light golden. Medium to thin body with lots of carbonation. Floral tastes & sleghtly sweet on the back.

Keg in a mobile pub at the New Haw & Woodham Midsummer Event. Not much of an aroma - usual gassy yeasty sweetness. Dull gold. Very thin white head. Wasn’t expecting much tastewise. A light sweetness. Not over done or overly chemical. Light bodied. Watery. Less carbonated than average perhaps. Abrupt finish. You drink it, you forget it.

Can whilst watching football. Yellow gold with a thin soapy head. Little aroma, flavour is minimal. Refreshing I guess

Desk beer. Pour very clear golden with a short lived white froth. Aroma is initially horrible skunky hops, adjunct, grassy, ittle sweet, some green apple. Flavour is composed of dry malts, adjunct corn, carbonic acid bite. Pretty flavourless. Palate is light and a bit abrasive carbonation, dry and thin in the finish. Meh.

Keg at the Dobblers Arms, Cambridge. Two dead gnats in the head actually add to the life of this boring beer. Light gold, cute little bubbles floating upwards. Smells of zero, maybe I have a cold, but I think that this actually has no smell. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Taste is... ok. Sweet/bitter, noncommittal. Comes from the Budweiser school of ’alcohol flavoured water’. Decent palate, the carbonation helps. Don’t bother.
