We confess to being big music heads here at Polly’s HQ, with a huge spectrum of styles appreciated brewery-wide. Whether it’s a “Champagne Supernova”, a “Killing in the Name”, or an “Orange Crush”, there’s just something that’s always stuck in our minds about how uniquely memorable a repeated first verse is. We wanted to apply this concept to a beer, and First Verse, Twice was born. Featuring a first verse of El Dorado in the boil, we added a healthy chorus of Mosaic and Simcoe during fermentation, before coming back for another go around on El Dorado once again in the dry-hop. The result is a juicebomb of a beer, positively dripping with notes of tangerine, jelly tots (yes, really) and red grapefruit for balance. An all out explosion of flavour; Team Polly’s doing what we do best.

A murky, dank and juicy pale ale. Pours an extremely cloudy pale gold, like pineapple juice, with a small bubbly white head, and a juicy aroma of citrus fruit and hint of resinous pine. The mouthfeel is lush, a touch creamy, and the juicy fruit flavours and that hint of piney bitterness go really well together, balancing each other out so it's smooth as

Can. An unclear orange colored beer with a small white head. Piney, grapefruity aroma with some hints of melon and orange zest. Hints of malts. It's full bodied, nicely carbonated and soft on the palate, with a decent bitterness. Mostly grapefruity flavor, pine cones, orange zest and some melon and grass too. Lasting fruity finish. A delicious one indeed, refreshing too. 210123

Can from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - murky yellow with an off white head. Nose - lychee and pineapple. Taste - more tropical. Lychees again. Overripe melon. Palate - medium bodied. Creamy and tangy at the same time. Long, tangy finish. Overall - very nice.
