A Blend of Golden Sour Beers Aged in Oak Barrels With Rose Hips and Hibiscus.
At first I caught an aroma of Swedish berries. A walk in the orchard. A warm breeze. A favorite childhood candy store. A vague snapshot in time. Take a sip and enjoy the refreshing effervescence and tartness of this barrel-aged sour beer.

Bottle shared by Blafa. Thanks! Pours lightly reddish orange with a small white head. Notes of rosehips, oaky sweetness, herbal notes, citrus, lemon, lightly candied sort of fruity notes. Weird but good! Quite mineralic and acidic finish.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color ale with a large foamy head with light retention and limited lacing. Aroma of sour notes with light hibiscus with some light acidic notes also noticeable. Taste is also a mix of tart notes with light oak, some hibiscus with tart fruits notes and medium acidity is also noticeable at the end. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable but acidity is more upfront than expected and hides some of the other flavours.

(On tap @ Birreria Volo, Apr 20/18) Pours a lightly hazed peach colour with a small white ring of head. Notes of biting citrus-laced lactic acidity with a touch of fruited vinegar, counterbalanced by smooth floral perfume notes, a bit of tart berry/cherry quality, dusting of dry funk, minerals, and a little hint of wood towards the back, but finishes with some clear sourness and maybe a little crabapple. Light to medium body, a bit slick, effervescent. Smooth and complex, deft handling of the additions, a nice surprise. Small Pony's showing real promise on the basis of their first few beers.

A dirty reddish copper ale with no head. In aroma, wonderful mix of tart apples, ground cherries, lactic acid, Epsom salts, light Brett, very nice and complex. In mouth, a beautiful puckering acidity with Epsom salts, light Brett, light lactic notes, very nice and complex. On tap at Bar Lupulus.
