330ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye. Lacing rings down the glass from a covering beige head. Deep dark in body appearance with a rustic shade to it. Cocoa powder and nuts on the nose, appealing. Nicely roasted malts to the taste buds, hints of cocoa, nuts and wood. Rounded, semi-sweet malty tail. Likable. (Rating session with djoeye and Finn, Tromsø 24.01.2019).

Flaske spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune på Nerstranda. Svart. Lavt mokkafarget skum. Aroma av melkesjokolade. Smaken litt lakris. Melkesjokolade etter hvert. Kakao i avslutningen.

Bottled 330ml (Alko web)
Dark brown colour, small off-white head. Toasted, chocolaty aroma. Medium-bodied. Toasted and smooth as they promised. Chips from whiskey barrel is evident too. Whiskey chips are kind of artifical here. No trace of hazelnut but some cocoa powder. Clean brew but leaves you cold, Malmgård can brew better porters.

A black beer, a head is small and beige. Brilliant aroma, huge amount of hazelnut and chocolate, some vanilla. Taste has hazelnut, chocolate, roastiness, bitterness and nicely dry. Medium bodied, low carbonation, smooth. A brilliant beer which aroma reminds me from the best Omnipollo's hazulnut chocolate.

(Cask at St Urhos Pub, 20171130) The beer poured dark brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized, bubbly and white. Aroma had cocoa powder, sweetness and toasted malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, vanilla, sweetness, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste had vanilla, cocoa and bitterness. A spiced brew but not a good one. Messy and unpleasant.
