Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a creamy, off-white head. Nose is more greasy than citrusy, not many hops are out to play - at least not any fresh ones. Rich, malty body, slightly chemical with a very bitter finish. Turning up the alcohol and the bitterness does not an interesting DIPA make. 030818

Bottle from a small Wine shop in Valladolid, Spain (the wine shop was about two doors along from Restaurant Angela) consumed at Camping el Rosal, San Vicente de la Barquera Spain, Monday 2nd July 2018. Pours hazy amber with a clean white head. Good fruity bite, crystal malt gives this an American IPA taste and the Nugget, Amarillo, Centennial, Columbus and Chinook confirm that there is plenty of hops being used in here. It's a big bolshy IPA, a touch sweet, not hugely bitter but nonetheless very good. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7

Orangish color, off-white head with some retention. Aroma has notes of resin hops, pine and orange zest. Flavor with a decent bitterness, some caramelish hints. Bittery mouthfeel with orange peel aftertaste.

33 cl bottle shared with Alberto (thanks, bro!) served in old-fashioned whisky glass. Pours slightly hazy amber with tan head. Aroma is deep citrus (grapefruit, mandarin, orange), conifer (pine needle, resin, cedar) and a fantastic tinge of black coffee, even tobacco. Cool. Mouth is sweetish, oily and slick, finishing very bitter but well balanced. Long persistence. Quite a nice ale, and a hip label, too.
