N° 2 in our British Bitters series. The FrogBeer brewers have recreated this very popular beer using modern malts, particularly a brown malt that gives this beer a chocolate aroma and flavour. We're using a threesome of great Engish hops. For added authenticity, they have increased the hardness of their 'liquor' (water used for brewing) to echo the mineral make up of the water of London in the 1700s. EBC 96.

@ Frog & Princess. Black color with an off-white head with medium retention. Aroma has notes of roasted malts with some licorice and light coffee. Mild bitterness on palate with coffee beans. Light bitterness in the final with light body.
