Bottled 31 okt 2018, batch aged on Old Forester barrels. Pours dark brown, some pale foam, syrupy thickness. Smells malty, some wood. Nice carbonation, good thickness. Taste is malty, raisins, hint of coconutty bourbon. Ranging into old ale regions. Fun!

Bottle. Almost black. Soft roast and caramel in the shy aroma. Raisin, vanille, soft roast and caramel in the sweet flavor. Hint of bourbon. Low on carbon. Pleasant, but I expected more bourbon.

Bottle. Gusher. Color: Very dark ruby, large frothy beige head. Aroma: Sweetish, dark roasted malt, coffee. Taste: Medium sweet, vanilla, roasted malt, dark coffee, chocolate notes, boozy hints, licorice hints. Moderate hopbiterness. Long lasting finish. Over medium body, average carbonation. Lightly creamy and bit sticky mouthfeel. Nice one. Well balanced, not that complex. I believe that the original Prior is just a little more complex.

Bottle @ home (bottled May 2015. Pours a dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma's: sweet, dried dark fruit, raisins, wood, light vanilla, light boozy/bourbon. Retronasal it's sweetish, raisins, molasses, toffee, light fruity, light boozy. Flavor is moderate sweet with light fruity sourness. Clearly some alcoholic booziness, but not sharp or burning. Medium bodied. Finishes slightly woody. Very nice, just like the base beer, but next time I should drink this fresh.

75 cl bottle @ ISKTR ’16
Aroma is odd with some sweet malt, raisins and some chocolate. Flavour has alcohol, raisins, chocolate essences and some dried fruits. Dry finish. Not very baltic porter, more like a dull & bland dubbel. And not much bourbon present.
