Can from Liquorland Newmarket, Auckland. Pours near clear amber with beige foam. Malt, biscuit, caramel, mild toffee, red berries. Light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Follows the aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Really well executed red IPA.

On tap at the Lumsden. Pours deep orange brown. Caramel, biscuit, toast, orange peel, strong strawberry jam, marmalade bitterness. Medium body. Pretty tasty.

Bottled. A red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and and spicy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and spicy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark red amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter flavor with hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter caramel finish.

Taster at Bel-aire Tavern, Nelson. Big fruity nose. Brown/red beer with solid head. Fruity malt taste with excellent bitter hop finish. Good IPA.

Hazy deep amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is airy and mildly dry. Decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, trace of caramel. Loads of apples and pears - tangy. A little orange underneath. Mild orange peel. Light finish. Odd and not right.
