(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of pink grapefruit, caramel, treacle-toffee, red berries, dried fruit and pine needles. Fruity, malty, hoppy taste with red fruit, pink grapefruit, caramel, toffee, dried fruit, pine needels and a generous citric/piney bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Really tasty and well balanced. Solid and very nice.

At a tasting, thanks, small bubly head, clear dark red color, light fruity hoppy aroma, with a hint of brown bread, flavor of caramel., dark bread and a metalic hint, a bit too sweet and a touch coarse bitterness. Fair but not too exciting.
