Dark almost amber color with a tan head. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a smooth carbonation level. Tad sweet and a decent bitterness to back it up. Dried fruits, bready and an ok hoppy flavor.

Bottle. A drinkable and well balanced strong ale with a british feel to it. Notes of burned sugar, red orange, cookies, pineapple and butter. Nice soft and a bit oily mouthfeel.

330ml bottle bought at Systembolaget, PK Huset, shared with Finn and Tor. Pours a deep, dark red body and a bubbly, beige head leaving spotty lacing behind. Aroma of ripe citrus and caramel malts. Solid taste profile of apricot, pine, moments of red orange, and a backbone of caramel. Lingering malt-fruity bitter ending. Rounded and well bodied. Pleasant (Hotel room, Stockholm 24.11.2016).

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a creamy and lacing beige head. Very complex hoppy aroma, bordering perfumy. Rich, sweet, malty body - caramellish. Gets somewhat medicinal which is a pity. Boozy finish. I wish they had kept it drier, this is a little hard to drink because of the syrupy cough syrup notes. And a high late bitterness doesn’t save it. 240216
