Super Treat is a riff on Treat utilizing even larger kettle and dry hop additions applied to a richer, denser base beer than Treat. It is intended to coax sweet hop candy flavors from a blend of citrus forward American hops paired with our house yeast. Saturated flavors of orange starburst, sweet tangerine, lychee, and unfiltered fresh squeezed orange juice play nicely with a gently carbonated body lending to a beer that is intensely enjoyable and eminently drinkable. Our house yeast provides juicy fruit gum and melon overtones throughout. It’s a Super Treat, indeed!

Tulip showing pale gold with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows intense juicy notes of papaya and mango. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Strong NE malt backbone with flavors of adzuki and papaya with a moderate pine astringency.

473ml can. Smooth, slightly malty and hoppy with some citrusy hops, pine, grass and floral notes, hints of sweetish notes. Okay.

Pours a soft, banana-yellow, with good-sized, lasting, foamy white head. Aroma is quite dank, with some soap, citrus and tropical fruit, and sour washcloth. Flavor is citrus and tropical fruit, with some light hop-burn flavor. It has a very bitter finish. Good, but one of those beers that just tastes like it's overdone.

Appearance is opaque orange, like orange juice, with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, 2-finger foamy white head with fair retention and tons of soapy lacing. Aroma is strong tangerine, candied sugar, melon, lychee. Taste is strong candied sugar (yellow Starburst), tangerine, lychee. Palate is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, pleasant alcohol warmth, soft carbonation until late lively kick, and sweet finish as taste. Overall, very sweet. Not quite cloying but no balance here.
