Draught @ Extreme Beer Fest 2019, Boston, MA. Sweet, creamy and milky with loads of vanilla, some stingy guava, grapefruit and citrus. Too much lactose notes here.

16 oz can from Jeremy. Flat pour, dark golden, hazy. Aroma leads with the guava, followed by vanilla. Rice and lactose smooth the brew out, and adds the nice sweetness. As milkshake IPAs go, this is pretty nice.

Definitely unusual. Pours a very hazy (with lots of floaties) lemon-yellow, with minimal head. Aromas of guava and vanilla are notable, maybe just a touch of some citrus lingering in the background. Flavor is very sweet, with vanilla and guava obviously taking the lead. There's a touch of background sourness or perhaps hop bitterness that kind of butts heads with the sweet fruit approach. I can kind of see where this was going, but not sure it actually got there. It certainly isn't bad, just maybe needs a bit more developing?

16 oz can from the brewery. Aroma is guava, vanilla, citrus peel. Pours murky yellow with a one finger bone-white head that falls into a ring quickly. Taste is sweet with faint bitterness. Nice fruity and vanilla flavors. Hint of grain. Delicious.
