(Bottle, Oedipus Brewery Taproom, Amsterdam, 31 Aug 2019) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of green apples, grapes, funky yeast and oak wood. Fruity, tart taste with apples, unripe pears, grapes, funky yeast and hay. More than medium body, dry. Quite a funky and interesting, lambicish, cider, and really tasty. Nice one.

Bottle. Color: Hazy yellow golden, very thin white head. Aroma: Apple, hop, funk. Taste: Medium tart apple notes, nice amount of farmyard funk, some hop, some Saison yeast. Peppery hints. Moderate sweet and bitter, combined with moderate and medium sour notes. Oak. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Pretty unusual and interesting taste, somewhere in between cider and beer. Some apple notes again at the finish. Medium body, low carbonation. Nice experiment.

Tap at dB’s. Hazy golden with no head. Dry apple, soft spices, light glue, sharp white wine, dry oak, apricot. Almost medium sour, under medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Good one.

Bottle shared at home. Near clear pale golden with no lasting head. Sweet malts, sour grain, apricot, white wine barrel, lime peel rind, some goaty bretty funk, light gluey touch with a smooth candied apple finish. Light sweet and moderate sour and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice stuff.

0.375 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', bottled in October 2018. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, quickly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, gently fruity, slightly funky and a bit spicy aroma of ripe apples, lemon, gooseberry, light horse blanket and some wood. Slightly sweet, moderately sour, quite fruity, gently spicy and a bit funky taste of ripe apples, lemongrass, gooseberry, coriander, some wood and a touch of horse blanket, followed by a short, moderately tart, gently woody-dry and slightly spicy finish. Thin to medium body, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Refreshing, rather quaffable blend, something really different and interesting.
