Going inside the hop cone to extract its precious content—this is the essence of RESIN. Hop Hash takes this concept to its realized extreme, as pure lupulin collected during pelletization is preserved, then frozen with liquid nitrogen and shattered into the beer during dry-hopping. The result is a chain reaction of hop intensity going off in every sip. Experience pure juice at the ATOMIC level!

Hops: Citra, Galaxy, Mandarina Bavaria, and Idaho 7 Hop Hash

Super clear, deep orange, gold and bronze coloured body that has a two centimetre tall tan head that fades fairly quickly and shows a slight haze towards the bottom of the glass. Aroma of alcohol, syrup, resin, grass, flowers, oranges, dry grain and some light citrusey hop bitterness. Full-bodied; Super sweet, syrupy, sticky and pungent malt, resinous hops and a deep chunky yeast note dominates that definitely show the eleven per cent with some light nuances of full oranges, coriander seed, flowers, caster sugar and even more citrus, in the form of curacao. Aftertaste is ridiculously deep, sweet, pungent, astringent, syrupy and showing a bunch of unfinished sugars as well as a ton of malt - this is THICK! The alcohol is too strong of course, as are the leftover sugars and comes across as very medicinal and not enjoyable at all, really. Nice enough to sample, but this is TOO much - just like DogFish 120 Minute, especially in this larger format - it should be twelve ounce maximum. Good to have this fresh-ish and not wasting any space in my cellar at all. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can (way too big), purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 12-August-2020 for US$5,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 25-August-2020.

Mango and lots of booze, tons of caramel like Willy Wonkas factory. Pours hazy golden with ok head, good lacing. Super sweet finish. Too much like most triple IPAs. Tap at Fire Works.

Can. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of sweet grains and sweet bread with a bit of resin underlying. Flavor is cloyingly sweet with sweet grains and sugar cookie with light resin and sweet onion.

16 ounce can. Slightly hazed honey gold pour. Frothy beige head. Dank resiny hop aroma. Sweet, tangy citrus flavor upfront. Notes of orange and peach. Then their is that hot alcohol burn that comes from the nearly 12% ABV. Reminiscent of a boozy tropical fruit drink.
