Can (9/24/20) from Andover Classic Wines. It's a hazy yellow with nice sparkle, fizzy cap of white head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong lemon-lime--a bit like a margarita. Taste follows aroma--more tart than sweet. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, soft carbonation and tart finish. Overall, almost a spiked seltzer--fruity, tart, refreshing. A little over the tart/sweet edge for my tastes.

I saw tart and I said I'd give it a try. Then I found out it was a berliner, now I really can't wait, just the name is making my mouth water. $2 can pours clear pale with an active white head. Nose is somewhat industrial Good initial uptake on teh palate. Friendly cutting bubbling activity on the palate, very nice first impressions. Simply berliner tart with a touch of lemon and lime. In the middle I do get some of the peel thing happening in the aftertaste of each slug. Pretty good and very refreshing, I really like a well made berliner, its simple fun fantastic. Thanks AU - much better than expected. Finishes like an almost sour lime soda with a touch of lemon pledge. Goes down way too easy, you can barely tell its beer because it hides the alky so well.
