Human Condition is a rich and delicious Tree House stout brewed with coconut, caramel, and chocolate. It is designed to capture the spirit and flavor of samoa cookies. It pours a deep black color in the glass releasing aromas of toasted coconut, caramel, milk, chocolate and creamy coffee. The flavor follows suit, with a predominant chocolate coconut note fading into a rich caramel candy finish. We are so pleased to present Human Condition - a beer that follows closely to our long running philosophy of presenting richly flavorful, thoughtful, and well crafted beers that neither tire or weigh heavy on the palate. This beer works perfectly as a companion to a cold spring evening spent dreaming of warm sandy beaches. In the breadth of human condition, we hope that this beer can offer a moment of joy amidst the endless ups and downs we encounter as we make our way through this fortunate journey called life.

Can thanks to my bro. It pours darkest brown to black with a small tan head. The aroma is dark roasted malt, charred vibes, espresso coffee, chocolate, chocolate covered coffee beans, touch of vanilla, cookie dough, caramel and gooey brownie. The taste is dry roasted malt, charred, umami, good hit of rich roasted coffee, espresso, chocolate, vanilla, creme caramel, toasted coconut, dried fruits, warming alcohol and light tannin with a drying, roasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not too sweet thankfully. Works well.

Pint on tap at Tewksbury. Opaque black with thin head with excellent retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong coconut over chocolate (Mounds bar). Taste is strong coconut, dark chocolate. Smooth, frothy texture, full bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste. This is a frikkin’ delicious Mounds bar in a beer!

Pours a rich near black from a can, some tan head. Rich chocolate, coffee and coconut aroma and flavor. Rather sweet. Very good beer.

Utterly black beer, no head. Coffee, pure coffeebeans, bit of mocha and lactic (lactose). Mocha, coffee, not much else, just some nutty flavour in the finish. Lactic gives a good volume, but doesn't add much to the complexity, even if calling it 'rich' is stretching it. Oh well, not bad. Thanks to M&L!
