Cask at the St Albans beer festival 2022. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting halo of loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, juicy apple, vanilla, custard, apple custard. Flavour is composed of semi sweet tangy earthy apple, mild funk, salt, bark, palate is semi sweet, tang, moderate carbonation. Nice authentic rustic cider.

75cl bottle shared with Soph whilst blasting out Monster Magnet on a rainy dismal November evening. Hazed gold. Aroma has light orchard fruit, floral, keeved fruit. Taste presents a nice medium character, fine natural carbonation, nicely keeved overall with a moderate sweetness, mild apple pie, soft vanilla and pleasant dusty tannin on the finish. Nicely balanced, pretty good medium cidre.

750ml bottle with wired-cork from Scattings. The cork self-ejected with a loud pop when trying to open! Pours sparkling slightly hazy yellow gold colour, with large fizzy white foam head that quickly dissipates away. Aroma of tangy apple, caramel. Taste is sweetish, apple, tangy, alittle skin and pip, with hints of funk, straw and a caramel note, plus some tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, medium-dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Templar's Choice Medium Cider (4.5%) on 02 Feb 2022 at 19:59 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5.
