330ml bottle. Slightly milky, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, collapsing, white head. Bretty, funky, lactic and vinous fruity aroma, notes of sauerkraut, apricot, mirabelle, whiffs of orange peel. Taste is dry, tart, lactic, mildly bretty, funky and vinous fruity, minimally woody, initial notes of sauerkraut, unripe apple, lemon juice, later additional hints of apricot and mirabelle with very subtle sweetness, notes of white grapes, a spicy touch of nutmeg, some orange peel, a touch of oak. Watery texture, astringent palate, medium, prickly to lively carbonation. Very nice, complex composition, very refreshing - wonderful.

330ml bottle sophiesbeerstore.co.uk. Pours a misty gold, no head. Aroma of fresh, lightly sherbetty zesty apricot fruit. Fine spritz on the palate. Taste presents an initial sweet fuzzy wild character, delicate fruit profile encompassing apricot, mango, gooseberry, rhubarb, boosted by a wild brett presence. Can't really detect much orange wine influence.. I sense the beer may have been quite adequate without it. Big hitting flavour that seems an antithesis to the berliner character, but nevertheless an interesting sour beer.

0.33 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, bottled in September 2020. Slightly hazy, golden with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, quite vinous-fruity aroma of white wine, gooseberry, apricot, lemon and a touch of brett funk. Gently sour, quite vinous-fruity taste of white wine, lemon, gooseberry, apricot, hints of rhubarb and traces of brett funk, followed by a short, gently tart, a little funky finish. Thin to medium body, gently astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Another brilliant grape ale from Flügge, the wine and the apricot match perfectly with the Berliner Weisse, a style I am usually not too fond of. Nice flavours, well-balanced and the brett rounds it up. Good!
