The base beer is a delicate, but refreshingly tart citric forward sour, reminiscent of an orange wine or sparkling cider. To finish it off we have complimented the brew with a punchy dry hop with bold Citra hops.

From bottle at Mout Bierfestival Nijmegen 2020 thanks to an unexpected bottle share. Nice puckering sourness, dry with citrus, oak. Fruity, tart, some funk. Medium body. Nice and intense!

Bottle shared. Clear pale golden. Fresh fruity hops up front with some marihuana. White wine, sour wheat, quince, Brett, a hint of glue, oak, vanilla, soft cider. Medium sour, lighter sweet. Medium bodied. Nice!

75cl bottle @ Last Beer Tasting Before Lockdown 2.0, Chez Sophie, Oct 20. Thanks Mike, as ever, for bringing his traditional Wild Beer Co beer. Misty golden yellow appearance, small white head. Full wild floral bouquet. Brilliant wild character overall, nice Citra nuances, crisp sour fruitiness. Very very good, incredibly satisfying with great harmony of flavours.

Monday 2nd Nov 2020: Monthly Beer Share at Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Four hardy souls and plenty of variety, some good snacks too! Thanks Mike for the 75cl bottle of this sour puss. Misty golden pour, white topping. Reminded me of Lambic's and Cooking Apples.
