CD 04/26/23. Pours a light hazy orange colour and a frothy off white head with good retention. Aroma's: resinous hops, some fruit, light malt. Retronasal there's malt, resin, hops, fruit. Flavour is moderate bitter with some juicy sourness, citrussy, but also some sweet fruit. Medium bodied. Long finish, developing a decent bitterness.

Brewery draught, 2/2/23. Clear tangerine-golden. Medium-sized, white head with good retention. Lightly juicy, citrusy nose with solid base malt adding honey, biscuit and cracker. Lots of tangerine, spiciness and a touch of bread/caramel. Not boozey or resinous though with some pine emerging on the finish with warming/breathing. Soft, fairly malty, good attenuation. Citrus, lots of tangerine giving a floral-citrus character. Pine on the finish with a brace of strong bitterness. Biscuit, cracker, bread from the malt easily balances. Lawson's IPAs are so hard to characterize. Equal parts Old School East Coast, West Coast and New England. Maybe not fully my favorite thing but I can respect the cleanliness and execution that goes in to them.

Draft at Lawson's. Clear golden pour, small white foamy head, rings of lacing. Light, sweet aroma, grainy, citrus. Taste is smooth, sweet, gentle hoppiness, latent warmth. Incredibly, wonderfully smooth.

Ever so slightly hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish, single to two centimetre tall almost pure white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of bright grassy and floral hops with a dose of citrus fruits and some strong bitterness from the alpha acids with some alcohol and malt noticeable as well of course. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong hop flavours dominate here with a rich malt backbone that hits nicely and balances out nicely with a pungency and slight astringency, but fairly crisp and flavourful product that is nice for the style. Aftertaste shows a good hop bite with a nice bitterness and a relatively well-balanced malt component that all hits nicely and leaves some slight citrusey and dry hop flavours towards the end, but not too pungent or potent - fairly easy-going, especially for the style. Great to sample and very nice to try locally and fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can given to me by my brother-in-law and sampled at his house in Monroe, Connecticut on 19-December-2021.
