Bottle shared at THT April ‘19. Clear orange brown with a tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, toffee, butterscotch, yeast and herbs. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle 33 cl. Pleasant light amber color, yellowish foam. Aroma: sweet, milk toffee, jam, lollipops, candied fruits, slightly esters, almonds. Taste: jam, candied fruits, bitter almonds, hoppy finish, good.

Bottle shared with JNB and JFE at HNB 29.12.18. Clear copper golden. Off-white head and lacing. Excellent aroma of noble hops, dried red berries and sweet malt. Good!

0,33 flaske fra Systembolaget Hansa (Malmö), delt med skibsrederen og skogsmatrosen på Holmens siste aktivitetsdag i 2018: vakker rødlig kobber med fint skum som varer. Klar koppergylden med ok skum. Perfekt følge til Kittys fruktkake - sherryvinøs med svisker, rosiner, tørket fiken, umami, karameller og sviskeplommer. Søt, men humleprofilen holder det hele elegant på plass.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark amber with an almost yellowish head. Super toffee nose, but also distinctly boozy, gets almost herbal and nedicinal - like a cough syrup. Rich, fat body, as it should be. A shitload of toffeeish, caramellish malts but again sufficiently hopped. A bit of a beast and a challenge to drink. But enjoyed in small, tiny bites I really like it. Well crafted. 121118

Sykes this was just outstanding! Spot on barley wine. Sweet off course, but not cloying. Fine bitterness to back it up. Looks great also. Lovely deep amber color with a fine head. Good lacing. Pleasant intensity in the aroma. Mellow carbonation level. Easy to drink. And a well masked alcohol. Dangerous….but it is boozy. Toffee, bready, mild vinous, herbal and fruity. Solid!

330ml bottle bought at Systembolaget PK-Huset. Shared with djoeye and Finn. Next to clear amber body, steady off-white head, spotty lacing. Almond nose, hints of alcohol. Taste of dried fruits together with almond, and bread. Mid-sweet ending, warmth from the alcohol. Heavy stuff. (Ratingsession, Tromsø 25.10.2018).

Flaske spandert av Rune. Delt med ham og djoeye i WCveien. Mørk gylden. Middels høyt skum som daler veldig sakte. Litt lacing. Lett plommearoma. Smaken urter & søt frukt. Alkoholen godt kamuflert.
