And then the world stopped. A few kegs made it out to cellars, but sadly most of the brew was poured away and it was gone, until now.
A truly delightful and intriguing Black IPA – close your eyes and the journey begins on a silky road with undertones of roasted grains and hints of freshly roasted arabica beans, luring you into an abundance of lavish spicy citrus and resinous pine. Hopped with a perfect balance of Centennial, Galaxy and Mosaic.

440ml can from Anthony's of Wellington: BB 16th April 2026, drank on 29th December 2023 at my parents place in Devon. Black bodied with a tanned head. Malty front to the initial aroma and taste, then the hops kick in with an earthy resinous and citrussy feel. Interesting beer all round.

[February 2023] Near black with a small, bubbly tan head and roasted malt and hints of pine on the nose (once it warmed up). A little over-carbonated perhaps but rich and roasty, with coffee notes and piney bitterness

Dark beer, tan head. Smell is hippy with some zesty fruit. Flavour has tropical fruit, grassy hop, toasty malt. Really nice balance with a decent body too. Very drinkable.

On tap at Craft Beer Oasis, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small beige head and good lacing. There’s roasted malts in the aroma along with hints of hops and pine. In the mouth it is very bitter, with roasted malts, traditional hops and liquorice. After a while, treacle and tar start to come through, along with traces of dark fruits and alcoholic strength. Finish is a little sticky. This is great !
