Bottle. More or less clear in the glass, orangey golden in color and with a dense, two-finger white head leaving lacing. Fruity, lightly alcoholic aroma with an earthy kveik-ish touch and orange notes. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and with a smooth carbonation. The flavor is more on the orange side, even some more earthyness, with a generic fruityness and some pale malts as a backdrop. Long fruity, warming finish. Overall, quite nice, but a bit warming and I think it would have done much better with more complexity. But of course, that's not the way the beer's supposed to be. 190720

Bottle. Color: Rather pale clear golden, white head. Aroma: Grain, spicyness from the Kveik yeast, little hints of Juniperberries. Taste: Grain, spicy and floral Kveik yeast and Juniperberries, yellow fruit hints. Moderate to medium sweet with some over medium sweet moments and some light sourish hints. Bit resinous.Very malty, grain, hay. Hints of wood. Light to moderate bitterness. Spicy sweet finish with dry-ish mouthfeel. Medium body, average carbonation. Brewed and tasting almost the same as Brulandselva Kornøl, I'm told that this Kveik was an experiment to brew the beer with whole juniper branches instead of solely the juniperberries they use in the Kornøl. Both are really interesting beers.

330ml bottle, marked Kveik, beer gift from Frau Eva. A yellow-green coloured body, near-clear. Low white head, spotty lacing. Slightly smoked aroma with juniper and fruity notes. Spiced fruity flavours hints of wood and integrated kveik. Bittersweet, lingering ending. Mouth filling. Pretty nice. (Tromsø 30.04.2019).
