500ml bottle from Appleyards. Clear gold appearance, white froth. Sweet vegetal nose, continuing to taste with metallic sweetness. It's a few weeks past best before so perhaps shouldn't judge too much but I expected something a little more lighter and less harsh.

500ml bottle from Nest Cafe in Worcester. Clear golden body under a firm white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Inviting aromas of herbal hops with notes of resin. Fine blended taste of leafy hops and mid-sweet caramel malts. Moments of resinous bitterness to the finish. Good drinking. (Shared with Gary, Kirkley Lowestoft, 07.07.2019).

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 9/6/2018. Golden in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Some stone fruits, leafy hops, rich tea malts and a pleasantly bitter finish. Good.
