Mystery of Tartu - Some, who mindlessly rush in here, have exclaimed – there is nothing special here, no secret, no mystery? – but they just did not have the key, to solve the mystery. Secrets will always be kept from the fools who drink river water instead of beer.

Can shared at tasting. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hayish bitter, dusty. Not bad at all.

On tap a Pühaste Taproom Tallinn, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma has gentle grassiness, straw, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour has some grassy bitterness but I struggle to really perceive that Saaz spiciness; finishes relatively crisp. Leaves something to be desired.

200ml draught at Pühaste Taproom Tallinn. Shared with Finn. Bright golden body, white head that laced well. Moderate smell of pale malts and herbal hops. Quite similar taste of herbal hops, pale malts and a citric note. Mild malt-fruity ending. Clean and refreshing pilsner version. (Tallinn, 05.11.2025).

Can shared with Undos and Gabor. Pale yellow pour with a white head. Nose is hay, grains, citruses and distinct apple skin notes. Taste is similar, showing pale malts, citruses, grass and a touch of apple skin, but with time this latter is gone and the taste clears out. Light, crisp bodied with average carbonation.

Crisp, grassy and slightly sweetish malty with hints of bready notes, some earthiness and bitterness. Decent.

330ml can from Honest Brew. Cloudy gold with foamy small white head, plenty of retention and lacing. Aroma is sweet, grainy, citrus, floral herbs. This flows through to the taste with a firm grassy bitterness in the finish. Light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation. A punchy hoppy pilsener. Enjoyable.
