Super caramel and maple. Kind of a sugar candy mess with carbonation. Orange pour with good head. Super sweet. Bottle from a Russian store.

Can. A- Bready, caramel, rye. A- Brown color, clear liquid, no head. T- Cola, molasses, rye, toast. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- Not sickingly sweet but still plenty sweet. Lots of rye toast. Almost a burnt taste but good. Enjoyed this as usual with the kvass I have.

50cl can (as Gubernija Bread Kvass Dark Rye) from Rõõmu Kaubamaja, Keila. Hazy brown. Bready with notes of rye, dried fruits, caramel and hints of yeast. Medium sweet with carbonation on the soft side. Fair enough.

Can named Gubernija Bread Kvass Dark Rye. Brown colour, hazy, minimal head, some lacing. Aroma is intensive caramel, dark bread, honey, also some roasted malt that reminds of English porter. Heavy sweetness, slightly sour - but for a kvass, it's moderate sweet and the sourness is low. A bit cloying, but has a nice thick mouthfeel. It's surprising that a mass-produced kvass can be so good.

Ok brown pour, with a tan head that leaves a dotted lacing down the sides of the glass. Very easy drinkable stuff. Ok balanced sweetness and a fine carbonation level. Mostly and bready, mild fruity and herbal flavor and aroma.
