Bottle shared with and big thanks to the owner of Iznogood. Black with a ring tan head. Aroma has the Jack Daniels
upfront with oak, vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, light roast , licorice and molasses. Flavour is heavy sweet bit less so than their more recent pastry stouts. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Excellent!

Bottle № 1360 bbf 1.1.2024. Dark brown, close black. Aroma: barrel and whiskery, vanilla, oak, caramel, light sourness, prunes, sweetness, bourbon, bread, blue plum and other dried fruits. Taste: strong, but pleasant, bourbon, caramel, vanilla, plum and dried apricots, a little even dried cherries, warming, very good, soft, balanced, rich, and interesting.

20/8/2019. Bottle at Iznogood Beerock Bar, Corfu Town. Pours almost black with a beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, dark fruits, toffee, molasses, wood, fruit cake, whiskey, moderate roasted malt, biscuit and a hint of coffee. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Full bodied, rich slick texture, soft carbonation. Very good.

05-06-19 // bottle. 32degrees in Berlin. Perfect beer. Pitch black. Brown head. Heavy whisky in the nose woth some sweetness. Very oily and rich mouthfeel but body is fading a little in the end. Could be thicker. Lovely aroma of rich chocolate and coffee with boozy whisky aroma. Some oaky vanilla. Bottle. Black color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, wood, caramel, vanilla, liquorice, smoke. Taste is chocolate, light roast, ashy, caramel and vanilla again, sweet caramel finish. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Lacks a bit of body, but nice flavours in there. Good stuff, but not amazingly good.

Thanks! Sampled draft @ Billie’s Beer Festival 2018. Day 1. Black. Nose is very hot chocolate, mocha, charcoal. Too boozy chocolate mocha, sugar, alcoholic, roast, candy, too hot, crude but decent, low charcoal. Syrup.
