Nødingen Pub 050419. Hazy golden-orange color with a white head. Aroma is pine, tropical fruits. Flavor is tangerine, hop, citrus, pine, grapefruit, bread, pineapple, peaches, oranges. Easy drinkable nice beer.

On tap at Nødingen. It pours a hazy yellow body under a finger-thick white head leaving lacing. The aroma is piney and citrusy, grapefruit mostly, with pineapple, peach and some orange too. Not much maltyness detected, but there's some white bread hints. It's full to medium bodied, mostly dry, but with some fruity sweetness. There's a nice bitterness, as well as a very light spiced touch, and all the good piney and fruity stuff known from the aroma. As on the nose, the flavor has some bready malts, but the hops win easily. Lasting fruity finish. I find some resemblance to saison beer both in aroma and flavor, but the hop focus of this beer sure doesn't make you feel you're drinking a saison. Overall, both tasteful and refreshing indeed. 190405
