Excellent and tasty brew with a moderate alcohol level. Nice juniper and mild yeast touch together with some dark malt and earthy notes. Nice roast touch. Balanced fine bitterness and a fine carbonation level. Pleasant and easy drinkable.

KØLF 020617. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is smoked, juniper, coffee. Flavor is smoked, chocolate, yeast, juniper, caramel, berries, spices. Interesting beer.

500ml bottle, batch 1774, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Dense, fawn-coloured head remaining over a dark brown body. Lacing rings down the glass. Decent smoked malty nose, earthy. Dark doughy flavours joined by brown malts, a touch of smoke and spiced berries. Drying ending. Medium bodied. Pretty nice. (Tromsø 26.08.2017).

mørkbrun. Bortimot svart. fingerhøyt beige skum. mest kaffepreg i lukt. smaker av kaffe sjokolade og litt krydder. medium fylde. mild kaffe og faktisk einer i avslutningen. likte lukten best. behagelig mild kaffelukt.
