On tap at Kristiansand Ølfestival. An unclear, light brown beer with a dense, dark beige head. The aroma has juniper, something peppery, spiced, and a woody touch. It’s sweet and lightly alcoholic on the palate, fullbodied and nicely carbonated, with flavors of juniper water sure pleasant. Some woody, spiced notes too. Rather low on bitterness, both initially and in the end. Yet another delicious juniper beer from Voss. 150822

10cl on tap at Grünerløkka mat- of mikrobryggfestival. Hazy brownish with a lasting yellowish head. Malty and caramelly aroma with hints of juniper and spices. Medium sweet with nice somewhat spicy flavours. Tasty and quite balanced. A bit too much on the sweet side, but certainly decent.

Sampled from bottle @ Kristiansand ølfestival 2015. Unclear dark reddish brown body with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma has malt, caramel, dry fruit, bread and some warming alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet, rich malt, caramel, lots of dry fruit, moderate bitterness and warming alcohol. Full bodied with sweet, almost sticky aftertaste and warming alcohol. Not bad, not bad, but nothing revolutionary either.
