Tournament Mead, flavoured with ginger! However, the closest modern day equivalent to jousting we could think of is demolition derby, so you just need to find one of those to watch too.

Bottle 750ml @ Geokkjer
Pours clear brown without a head. Aroma has notes of heather honey and floral. Taste is medium to heavy sweet with long warm, sweet, floral and honey finish. Body is full, texture is oily, no carbonation.

Bottle, shared by Cunningham. A lightly unclear dark golden mead with no head or carbonation. The aroma is rather herbal and flowery, with some licorice hints. Honeycomb. Sweet, semi-thin mouthfeel with a certain warmth. Honey sweetness, flowers, herbs and a faint hint of licorice and ginger in the flavor, lasting for a really long time. Not my favorite this one, too flowery. 150718

Shared by Cunningham, thanks a lot! Nice golden colour without head. Sweet, floral and slightly spicy aroma with notes of ginger. Tasty and flavourful mead, a bit too sweet, but surprisingly easy to drink.

Clear nutty color with no head. Rich honey, floral and ginger in the aroma. Medium + body. Oily and a bit sweet. Rich honey, fruity, floral, herbal and ginger in the flavor. A very nice twist with ginger made this one rare and quite fresh. Recommendable.
