Schous Pils er en lys nordisk pilsner med en gyllen, strågul farge. Aromaen er preget av gjærfruktighet og humle med toner av blomster, gress og frukt. Smaken er fruktig og godt balansert mellom humle og malt, med en moderat bitterhet.

On tap at Brygg, Oslo. Golden colour, white head. Sweetish malty aroma, The flavour is sweeter than I remember it from the 70s and 80s when Schous Bryggeri still existed, but still fairly decent. Moderate hops. No masterpiece though.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head, very light color. Aroma is kind of neutral, cereal, hay, minerals, weeds, hints of popcorn. Taste is slightly dry, weeds, minerals, light malts, hay, cereal. Medium bitterness, light mouthfeel. Boring.

On tap @ Café Sara. Clear golden body with a thin and fast disappearing white head. Relatively strong grainy aroma for a macro lager with a hint of fruit and true to style diacetyl. Sweet and light malty flavor, quite soft and moderate in bitterness. Medium body and short aftertaste. Decent pilsner, probably a bit better than standard Ringnes.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain, floral and grass. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a grainy, grassy finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Cafe Sara. A clear, golden beer topped by a small dense white head. The aroma has a pleasant fruityness, some hay and grains. Perhaps a bit sweet, with flavors of pears, yellow apples and some hay and bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Some caramel in the end. A pretty nice one. Or perhaps it was the train ride who did it. 140501

På tapp under Lillestrøm ølfestival med blues live i bakgrunnen. Lys brun med tynt hvitt skum som ligger helt ut. Malt og kornete i lukten. Noen søte karamelltoner i smaken. Lite bitterhet, medium kullsyre, kort ettersmak
