Bottle at home. One year old bottle. Pours a hazy mahogany colour with a beige head. Aroma of red berries, heather, pine, ammonia and leather. The flavour follows up and is quite hoppy with lots of pine, grapefruit and grass. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body, a solid but balanced bitterness. A both hoppy and malty ale. Decent.

Bottled (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Hazy ambery brown colour with a mediumsized beige foamy head. Aroma is floral, toffee and some mild nutty notes, and a wee bit of alcohol. Flavour is some alcohol sweetness along with fudge/toffee and some spices and mild yeasty notes. Also some quite bitter notes in the finish.

500ml bottle, batch 78, from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. A beige head to a next to clear amber coloured body. Dark fruity aroma with a backbone of berries. Well blended taste of dark fruits, earthy malts and red berries. A bit marmalade impression. Long bittersweet tail. Well bodied. Excellent (shared at a Sunday session with Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 03.04.2016).

Medium beige head. Clear deep dark red body. Resiny sugary strawy aroma with fruity spicy notes. Sweetish fruity resiny pineapple taste with ashy strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Resiny strawy pineapple aftertaste with spicy notes. A bit sharp and harsh, but not unpleasant. (0.5l bottle, from wine monopoly, Storo. Batch #78.)

Amber with off white head - Hoppy aroma with some fruts and hints of pine - Malt body to support a good hop profile that is fruity and some herbal notes - The hops with a nice fruity tone goes into the finish - This was good

06.09.2014, tap @ Bergen Ølfestival:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly grassy, lawn, hops, old leafs, caramel malts, bark, minerals, dried fruits. Taste is slightly harsh grassy, old leafs, moss, bark, alcohol, harsh hops, minerals, grass, paper, pine needles, soil, worth. Longlasting bitterness, harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough, not really my cup of tea...
