3 Fonteinen Framboos is the result of macerating hand-picked whole raspberries on young lambic for at least four months, in a proportion of one kilogram of fruit per litre of lambic. The raspberry lambic is then blended again with more young lambic to obtain a minimum intensity of 35% fruit, and is bottled immediately afterwards. These bottles are then stored in our cellars for at least five months so that the raspberry lambic can develop into a beautiful, traditional, and re ned Framboos. With a abundant forest fruit nose as it warms in the glass, 3 Fonteinen Framboos will age perfectly but may lose some of the vibrant colours and forest fruit aromas. This un ltered and unpasteurised lambic is all-natural with no arti cial juices, syrups, or sugars added. Traditional Lambic is living, cultural heritage rooted in the Zenne valley!

red brow wth a fast dissapearing white head
red fruits, leather and wood in the aroma, faint cheese, faint fruit stone. not the cleanest framboos aroma i've had.
flavor is tart and sour lambic with a great fruity note to it, that accentuates the sourness but never makes it too fruity or too sweet. palata has some sort of grainy fel to it, or smal bubbles feel. flavor also have faint leather, faint to moderate wood. end is relatively short and leathery. the fruits and the sour notes balance perfectly and combine really well.
i am a tiny bit disappointed but only because i had huge expectations. this is a super solid framboos that aged reasonably well, but maybe it's time - or who knows maybe it's better in 5 years.
very tasty and refreshing. this bottle won't last half an hour.

Sampled as my first 'Bio Frambozen' framboos by 3F. Or course no-one will tell the difference in taste between organic and regular raspberry's in a beer, but in line with other entry's, we recently decided to split these up into regular, and organic anyways. I guess the review difference will be more batch-like than different beer-like. Anyway. Blend 16 of 17/18 , bottled 17-01-2018 - sampled on 10-01-2021 , so roughly 3 years in bottle.
Pours a dark copper amber, not as red or pink as expected. small white ring of persistant head. Scent is earthy, complex, intense wood, damp cellar, rough lambic funk. Taste is full, intensely tart, Medium acetic acid, but not overkill. Raspberry aroma is quite fine (already after 3 years, it seems to be quite less than usual) . Much funk, some lemontartness, strong wood presence. The essence of the fruit still remains though. Dry, acetic finish. Decent, not as fruitforward as I had hoped.

Hazy rusty rose with no head. Massive sour and fruity raspberries, red berries, rose fruits. Bit old and rusty, but nice nonetheless. Medium body, mineral, blood iron, rust, fruit pulp. | [2021-06-26 21:38:04] - Locatie: Brouwerij Kwartje HQ - Score: 3.9 - Comment: THT 2021! Unclear amber with greyish head. Sweet and sour raspberries, grains. Oxidized, funky, bit gluey. Medium body and soft carbonation.
