Keg at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Light to mid-gold, unfined. Lovely aroma of peaches and cream, fresh linen. Sweet taste with orchard fruit and light bittering hops to the fore. Bittersweet finish with light to medium carbonation in the body.

Keg at the Beerhawk shop on Southbank. The expected murky pour, but a striking and quite gorgeous aroma of tropical fruits and mango in particular. The taste and mouthfeel were those of a typical NEIPA and there is nothing wrong with that. Plenty of interest in a beer with 5% abv and I enjoyed it while perusing their fridges for some take-away.

Taste comprises juicy citric flesh, melon, tangerine, raw pineapple, citric pith, light breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with semi dank hop bitterness. Solid pale.

Craft Islington. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, reasonably sweet. Good citrus, some fresh orange and bitterish orange peel. Trace of strawberry. Good piney back end. Nice. Modest spicy bitter linger.

Can from The Beerhive. Hazy bronze body with a thick off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pear, dried mango and orange peel. Flavour of biscuit, caramel and sour grain. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A muddled beer - rough and slightly sour. Not one of Twisted Barrel’s best.

440ml can (not sure where people are getting version numbers and hop names from, there's none of that on here). Murky dull orange brown colour with a big off-white head. Soft juicy tropical fruity sherbety aroma. Taste is the same, sherbety, citrus and tropical fruits, dank, moderate bitterness which is more than I expected for a NEIPA. Medium body, soft-moderate carb.

On tap at Twisted Barrel, Coventry, with Dad and Pauline. Saturday 7th October 2017 Hazy yolky yellow colour with a white head. Oaty soft smooth mouthfeel, I understand that it is more NEIPA. Pleasant buzzy bitterness, this is really good. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
