Can split at CBC Covent Garden, thanks to Danny, 20/11/18 ... farewell Mad Hatter I imagine a decent enough brewer responsible for a good chunk of my Merseyside rates! Hazed pinkish gold with a light crimson cap. Nose is sweet berry fruits, strawberry jam, grass, airy malts. Taste comprises sweet malts, jammy berry pips, grass, lemon drizzle, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with moderate hop bitterness. Ok berrified number.

Craft TCR Bottleshare. Thanks to Dan the man for the can. A sad moment, my first Mad Hatter can but also one of the last beers I'll drink from this Brewery. They filled a niche but then lost their way a little, I will still miss them though. Hazy amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Smooth airy palate, a little soft, reasonable fine carbonation. Sweet floral berry fruits and emerging strawberries and cream. Someone said scones with strawberries and cream and that certainly fits as well. Light finish. Very amusing. So long Mad Hatter - it was fun.
