Bottle from Stanislaus Brewskovitch, Zwolle. Aroma is strong vanilla and coffee with roast, chocolate, some liquorice, mocha, some dark fruits, marshmallow. Not picking up much pepper. Flavour is quite sweet with a roasty bitterness. Body is full. Plenty of tasty flavours in this one, but it lacks the refinement of the better Omnipollo Pastry Stouts.

Bottled (from Systembolaget Umeå). Black colour, small white head. Aroma is alcohol, liquorice, some ripe fruits, raisins and mild syrup. Flavour is very similar, yet very pleasantly balanced. A bit sweet, but still nice supper brew.

(Bottle) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, hazelnuts, vanilla, coffee, liquorice and a touch of chilli. Malty, roasted, sweetish taste with chocolate, espresso, hazelnuts, vanilla, raisins, liquorice, a touch of chilli and a balanced cacao bitterness in the finish. Full body, sweet. Sweet and complex, but really tasty, rich and fairly well balanced. Very nice.

Już sam aromat zdradza że mamy do czynienia z pastry, czy będzie teamsłodyczka czy nie to się okaże. W nosie kakao z wanilią, słodka czekolada,masło orzechowe, całość przyjemna ale trochę jak z aromatów jest jakaś tak sztuczną nuta. W smaku już taki pastry nie jest czekolada taka max 60%, orzechy, kawa i kwaskowato-pieprzny finisz, alkohol dość wyczuwalny w typie cognac, nie jest to ulep - dobra kontra , jest w smaku dziwna metaliczność ale nie żelazo ( na skórze nic nie wychodzi. Powiem tak piwo zdecydowanie nie warte tych pieniędzy (cena regularna ok.40pln) piło się lepsze za połowę ceny, plus taki że kupione w promo za grosze więc żalu nie ma.
