Bottle from Best of Beers. Black with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, licorice and blueberries. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish. Oily and soft. 111220

330ml bottle. Black with a dense tan head. Aroma of blueberries, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa powder. Taste is sweet, milk chocolate, loads of tart blueberry, cocoa powder, vanilla, roast malts, lactose, bittersweet. Full bodied, very thick and very smooth. This is like a balanced version of Omnipollo Anagram, without being insanely sweet and cakey. Wonderful stout.

330ml bottle online from Hoptimism. Pours dark brown towards black with a beige head. Aroma: roasted malts, sweet, dark fruits, brown sugar, dark berries. Taste: moderate sweet & light bitter, light tart berries, chocolate, dark fruits, a little liquorice. Medium to full body, light carb, boozy finish

Bottle picked up from, SpeciaalBierPakket, Leiden, Netherlands and consumed at home, Attenkirchen, Sunday 10th May 2020, cooking Savoury Pork and Fennel Baklava and preparing a Pomegranate and Aubergine Salad, listening to Robyn Hitchcock - The Man Upstairs. Pours black with a light beige head. Nice soft mouthfeel, roasty but sweet, chocolate, berries, milky in fact thinking about it there is too much lactose, far too much. oky actually it's better than ok, but still too much lactose for me to truly get excited about.

Aus der Flasche im 2020-04 getrunken. Der beige, feinporige Schaum hält sich einen längeren Augenblick. Hui! Ich der Nase ein Traum von Blaubeeren und Schokolade, aber alles ohne eine Säure. Am Gaumen könnte es eine Schoko-Blaubeer-Brownie sein und hat eine wunderbare cremiges Mundgefühl. Allerding bleibt es ein Imperial Stout mit einer typischen, aber recht sanften Bitterkeit durch die typische Röstnoten. Ganz klar Traumstoff!

Bottle at home. Pours deep reddish brown, nose is roasted, blueberry, coffee, caramel, chocolate, taste is similar, sweet, juicy.
