Bottle shared with me by fred82, thank you!
JET black pour, NO light is ever getting in. with next to no head.
Aroma, HUGE burnt malts, like i mean SCORCHED malts. Lots of soy sauce, and some smoke, with tinges of coffee, and some alcohol
The flavor was dominated by thick resinous soy sauce, and smoke/ I did find the alcohol well hidden though.
The finish was very very dry, and quite bitter, and left a charred coffee flavor in my throat. I don’t think this bottle was bad like my friend Fred82 thinks. I just think this is what you get when you try and make a HUGE over the top stout. It was just a little too intense for me.

Pours black, no real head. Scent is full, roasty, all very mellow. Some soy. Taste is full, oldschool roast, high alcohol. Sharp, red fruit, almond like, oak almost. Aquavit comes to mind. Lovely. This is still great, though it's from 2007 (?) , drank in 2022 - how is that even possible ? Soy finish, medium enthousiastic about the actual taste here, but the aftertaste is straight up gold. hides the alcohol very well, too. Impressive stuff !

Bottle at share. Inky black pour with a thin, creamy beige head. Aging has done this beer wonders.Candy bar aromas of chocolate and almonds. Taste adds vanilla, molasses, deep roasty grains and anise. Sugary sweet and smooth.

Bottle with Tim E. Aroma of marker pen, richness. Taste is great, soy sauce, bit of fruit. Vinous, only a touch of the booze surprisingly. So fruity, bit of caramel, touch of liquorice, burnt, bit of spice. Great. Thanks Tim and congratulations!

Sampled at Ace & Kees. Bottle. Dark brown with light tan head. Big sweet roasted chocolate malts. Rye, dried fruits, coffee, vanilla. Big sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation. Sample from bottle @ Bergen Ølfestival 2018. Pours pitch black, with a small rocky head. Aroma is dark roasted malts with cocoa, leather, wood and muscovado, as well dark fruits and tobacco. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dark roasted malts, with dark fruity notes and coffee, as well as leather, muscovado, tobacco and wooden barrels. All these years, and still going strong. Balanced and quaffable.

Svart med lavt lys brunt skum. Lukter mørk sjokolade, svisker, kvae, engelsk lakris, noe animalsk mot lær, noe anis, dadler og krutt. Fyldig. Fyldig.

Meget fyldig. Er som fløte i munnfølelse. Burde fått tak i en til. Veldig moromt å få tak i siste flaska på cafe Sara.
