Can from RAD Beer. Murky amber/brown body with an off-white head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of caramel, coffee, strawberry syrup and fruit cake. Flavour of biscuit, dried fruit and zingy cranberry. Medium to full body with a chewy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. This is superb - it’s like a cross between a DIPA and Barley Wine.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Moor Vaults, Bermondsey. Pours clear, deep amber-red with a frothy, off-white head. Delicious beer, dangerously drinkable. Has a nice kick of malty sweetness, nips of caramel, ripening berries, citrus fruits, assertive piney bitterness, some lightly toasted malts. Medium to full bodied, lightly oily, with delicate and massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, oily and resinous, with more piney bitterness, berry and citrus accents. Rich but so, so easy to drink. Nice lick of bitterness in the aftertaste.
