Schramm’s Apple Crisp is a spiced cyser and a celebration of Michigan fall days. We utilize locally sourced apple cider and ferment it in small batches with its own yeast. Pleasant notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and a hint of madagascar vanilla bean are added to compliment without overpowering the pure flavor of delicious Michigan apples

375ml bottle. Batch 2. Pours a honey gold color. The aroma is light with apple peel and some deftly applied spices that I cannot pick out positively. The taste is honey, apples, mild spices, and something tart. The palate is full an d coats the mouth well. Finishes long and semi-sweet/semi-tart. Overall: Decent mead, but the spices throw it off for me a bit, I would prefer I more pure apple.

375 ml bottle shared by Adam! Batch #1…. Aroma shows soft cinnamon, nutmeg. Flavor is super subtle apple, spice and of course honey. Almost too sweet. The spice helps with the balance quite a bit.

Batch 1, 375mL, shared by Adam Chandler on 8/3/24. Clear deep amber. Soft, juicy, sweet, big cinnamon crisp character. Rich. Cinnamon, apple. Juicy, soft, rich and lighter bodied. Bit of rich honey. Boozey. But delicious.

Pale gold, slightly syrupy. Smells slightly sweet, definitely spicy, christmassy. Plenty of nutmeg, light cinnamon. Soft mouthfeel, not super thick. Taste is rich, remarkebly dry, some toasted apple and plenty of spice. More holiday dessert than apple.

Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours golden with no head. The aroma is apple skin, honey, and oak. Slick body, honey, apple, oak, nice sweetness, enjoyed this.

Sample. Just slightly hazy golden, smaller head, nonlasting. Quite some honey notes, slight alcohol nose and some fresh apple scent. Hints of spice in the back. Not too sweet, some honey presence and apples. A bit of alcohol presence. Light in the body. Not a fan of the style, but not bad at all.

Totally far from the michigan apple flavor. My girlfriend described it as apple brandy + simple syrup 1:1 but I'm not that harsh on the flavor despite it being holiday spiced. Warmed up the nose is oddly still boozy but flavor is sweet caramel nutmeg pie.

Bottle at New Years Eve from Glasbanken 2020-12-31 Göteborg AR: spices towards Xmas- clove?, apple and honey, warming feeling AP: orange light tone, no head F: some cloves, the guest picked up cinnamon and perhaps cardamom (I didn't ;)), afterwards I read that that there were nutmeg as one of the ingredients - not appreciated, honey and apples, warming feeling
