This is the bomb, the Tsar Bomba of hoppy beers. Broken Arrow IPA is a New England style IPA brewed with liberal amounts of naked oats and three(!) different types of wheat, creating a sweet, thick and pillowy mouthfeel. Dry hopped with Mosaic, Motueka and (our new favorite) BRU-1 for a well-blended flavor combo of papaya, perfectly ripe cantaloupe, sweet mango and a pithy citrus-note ready to launch a nuclear attack on you brain’s reward centre as soon as you crack open the can. Initiated sources say this might be the best IPA we’ve brewed so far.

Malts:
Maris Otter Extra Pale, Naked Oats, Flaked Wheat, Torrefied Wheat & Spelt Malt.

Hops:
Columbus, Mosaic, Motueka & BRU-1.

Yeast:
WLP066 London Fog

Sample (thanks omhper!). Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is tropical fruits and some floral tones with mild lactose. Flavour is tart fruits, tropical fruits, some lactose and mild yeasty tones too.

Can 440ml @ gunnfryd
Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, orange, citrus and grain. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long orange and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

KYGGK 020521. Golden-yellow color with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, oranges, hop. Flavor is tropical fruit, oranges, hop, grapefruit, pine. Nice beer.

Disigt ljust halmgul vätska. Fruktig och tropisk arom. Mjuk och nybörjarmjuk munkänsla. Påtagligt generisk, tretton på dussinet-NEIPA. Känns som man provat den förut och igen, och igen och....

Can. A hazy yellow colored beer with a small white head. Grassy, orangey, grapefruity aroma with some pale malt hints. Sort of perfumed. It's medium to full-bodied, dry and nicely carbonated, with a soft bitterness. Grapefruit, orange, pine cones and a perfumed element in the flavor. Lasting finish. Nice, but a bit perfumed. 210502

Can sourced from Ales and Brews and shared at home (20/03/2021) - hazy yellow with a white head. Fruity with some citrus grapefruit and lemon, citrus peel, a touch of pineapple and melon, medium body, sweetish malty backing, piney light bitter hoppy into the finish.

Gul och oklar med stort skum. Lätt kropp. Fruktig smak med mycket citrus. Typisk NEIPA, kanske i lättaste laget.
