Bottle from the lcbo. Light whisky notes, light peat, big sweet molasses and brown sugar. Hints of smoke, light barrel, lots of molasses and dark fruit.

(Bottle) Brownish amber colour, slightly hazy, with brief tan head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of caramel, dried apricots, oak wood, banana bread, orange peel, vanilla, nuts and chocolate fudge. Fruity, malty taste with dried apricots, treacle-toffee, oak wood, orange peel, vanilla, toffee, chocolate fudge and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Well balanced, tasty and elegant. Very nice.

Bottled (from Systembolaget Umeå). Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some mild toffee and a bit wooden notes. Flavour is wood, toffee and mild notes of rum like sweetness. Almost a bit burning in the throat in the finish.

Boxed 330ml bottle, limited edition apparently; BBE Jan 2021 on the bottle, BB Jan 2021 on the box. Also of interest is the fact the box and bottle have three different 'numbers on them', so I have no idea which batch or serial number this was. Actually I liked it, not as sweet as a lot of their offerings. Slight whisky feel, but a pleasant sipper all round.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Another fancy fancy boxed Innis beer. Sweet but pleasant barrel smell. Flat and golden colour. Nice vanilla cask taste. Little too tart on the palate. Dcent overall though.

Part of their Latitude & Longitude Series 002. Boxed 330ml brown bottle. Pours a deeper amber colour, clean, with a creamy-frothy light-beige head, good stay and some spotty-bubbly lacing. Nutty malt aromas, caramel with the Scotch cask alcohol notes and hints of vanilla, wood. A little unbalanced, it seems - kind of weird. The taste is better blended, but seems milder all-around. Light warming alcohol. Hints of dark fruits, watered-down, with decent hop bitterness-dryness in the finish. The malts really take a back step in the flavours. Interesting, but not one I would seek again. Thankfully, the smell gets better at last pour. Same for taste.

Bottled 330ml (Systembolaget)
Copper colour, small steady beige head. Perfumic vanilla and caramel in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Flavour has also perfumic vanilla, active carbonation and mint. Some whisky character. Odd brew with Innis&Gunn house flavour.
